This week I’ve spent a lot of quality time playing with images and artwork in Corel Draw and Photoshop. This type of work is a lot of fun for me because I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like. Mostly I end up doing it as a labor of love for some poor non-profit, friends, or in-house work.
For example, I’ve done all the covers for my friend Dian Chapman’s TechTrax magazine. Even now, she’s probably busy working on the December issue, so if you’re lucky, you might see the new issue if you click on the link below. We’ll see 🙂

I’ve also been doing a tremendous amount of photo-editing work for the Sandpoint Store (http://www.sandpointstore.com). Tonight I put up new Christmas ornaments, for example.
Finally, I’ve been working on a new e-mail newsletter called the Sandpoint Insider. For those of you who subscribe to Logical Tips to get information about this area, here’s another opportunity to read about life in our little North Idaho town. We’re also having lots of fun using our digital camera to give you a glimpse of the Sandpoint area in the Local Look photo section.
If you’re interested, here’s another little incentive to subscribe: you can win a printer. Anyone who subscribes to the Sandpoint Insider newsletter or who buys something at the Sandpoint Store is automatically entered to win a free Dell color printer ( the contest runs from Dec 1 – Jan 15).
Here’s a big chance to forever ruin your ability to say "I never win anything!"
