Now that it’s the end of the year, we’ve been evaluating at a lot of different things, including our Web sites. Since clients tend to go to sleep this time of year, we’ve had more time than usual to work on our own stuff. I’m proud to say, through much database manipulation and programming by James, we have transformed our first ezine site.
Pet Tails is now organized by category and subcategory instead of by issue. The design doesn’t look particularly different at first glance, but we hope that it will be easier for visitors to find the older articles (of which there are many). You can check it out at:

We plan to do the same thing to both the Logical Tips and the Sandpoint Insider sites soon. We’ll see how it goes. These changes are part of a larger plan to simplify our newsletter situation. Realistically, doing three newsletters is a lot of work, so we’re looking for ways to make things easier.
I’ve also been working on my upcoming cat book, which is, not surprisingly, the follow-on to our recent Happy Hound book. (I have to give adopted felines equal time!) So I took some really cute pictures of my cat Troi for the cover. She was almost as cooperative as Cami, our canine Christmas card model, which surprised me because after all, Troi IS a cat.
Here’s hoping the rest of the book project goes as smoothly. When cats are cooperative, clearly the stars must be in some type of peculiar alignment or something. Maybe it means 2007 will be a really great year 😉
Troi looking toward 2007
(No, this isn’t the one I used for the cover, but I liked it anyway.)
