Tis the day after Thanksgiving and all through the house, not much is stirring. We’re all too full. Yesterday’s feeding frenzy was good for we vegetarians too. Because we are vegan, people often ask us, "so what do you guys EAT on Thanksgiving?" The answer is pretty much what everyone else eats: stuffing, mashed potatoes, veggies, and cranberry sauce. The only difference is what we *don’t* eat: turkey. And realistically, I don’t miss it much. Along with cooking the turkey, which has always been a gigantic pain, in my opinion.
In more nerdy news, I finished teaching my Word class, so there are 10 more educated Word users out there in the big computing world. And I’ve been working on various proposals. It would be really nifty if some of them came to fruition. But that’s always the big gamble with proposals. You could do a whole bunch of work and then not get the job. So it goes.
In other news, for Computor Companion fans, we have decided to turn the magazine into a quarterly. We have all the articles in for the Winter edition, which should be posted on the web site in early December.
