Well, I’ve been alluding for a while that there are changes afoot here at Logical Expressions. One is that this newsletter is now called Logical Tips. However, I’m not going to change the subject line for a couple of weeks in case some of you filter your e-mail by subject line.
If you do, please add "Logical Tips Newsletter" to your non-spam pile. As part of the change, the domain name http://www.logicaltips.com now points to the archive site along with cc-tips.com. (You don’t have to remember whether or not there is a hyphen in the domain name anymore!) I’ve also added a sales page, so people will know more about what they’ll be receiving every week.
As always, if you have friends that might benefit from the information we provide here, please feel free to forward the newsletter to them and encourage them to subscribe. Our happy band of subscribers grows daily. If you like this newsletter, please do spread the word.
In less nerdy matters, this week contained my birthday, so I got a day off. I feel that everyone’s birthday should be a holiday. After all, everyone needs a day to feel special, and no day is more personally yours.
On my day off, James and I reveled in the joy of doing absolutely nothing. When we take vacations, we generally do a lot of eating, hiking, reading and relaxing. My birthday was just like a great vacation day. James and I curled up in the sunroom for a few hours and just read. (It was even sunny!) We took the dogs out for a really long walk in the forest and ate lots of food. Basically, we just enjoyed being together without any responsibilities. This may sound really boring to some of you, but we really enjoyed it! I guess the key to a good birthday is to make it full of things that YOU choose to do.
Today is Valentine’s Day and I spent most of it trying to convince my laser printer that it really should print the second side of some card stock. After much printer babysitting, the task is now complete. When I went back upstairs, James had lit some candles and had a chocolate rose on the dining room table for me. (Yes, he can still be adorably romantic, even after nearly 11 years of marriage.)
Here’s hoping everyone else has such a nice end to their evening. It is the day of love, after all 🙂
