As noted, this week’s Logical Tips will be the first one going out using my new e-mail client (Barca). If you see anything odd, please do let me know. In other new news, I have a lovely new Viewsonic monitor sitting on my desk. For those of you nerdy enough to care, it’s a VX924 flat panel with a 4ms response rate. (Oooh!)
Unfortunately, the computer folk ordered me the wrong video card, so my pretty new monitor isn’t hooked up for real yet. I want to run it using a digital (DVI) connection, not analog, which required getting a new card. Plus, I’m not getting rid of my ancient 21" CRT, since I want to run a dual-monitor setup. Gad, talk about nerdy. Anyway, this weekend, I might just plug it in with the old connector just for giggles.
In much less nerdy news, summer is officially here and the squash plants in my garden are living large. Although there are no squash yet, those plants can grow some serious leaves. They are just enormous.
I’ve also enjoyed my first week of having the LEI Veep back in the next office. It’s really, really good to not be alone anymore. The LEI canine and feline divsions are happy to have him back too 😉
