We returned from our vacation last weekend, which means it feels like I accomplished almost nothing this week in my effort to just get caught up. However, I keep trying to remind myself not to get depressed. Things actually are happening.
For one thing, I got the proof back of our new, revised (print) book called Web Business Success: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Web Sites That Work. Next week, I should have the first order of books here in our office ready to ship out.
I also emailed all those Logical Tips readers who requested to be notified when our Vegan Success cookbook is available. Because it was the first book, there were a number of delays, but now at long last, we have them here, available, and ready for sale. It’s also available on Amazon.com. (For those of you who already have your copies, if you’ve tried some recipes and liked the book, please write an Amazon review and share the joy!)
As always, Logical Tips readers get first dibs on all our stuff. If you’d like the special code to get a lower price on either book, please let me know. Plus, this week, I also finished the preliminary layout on our dog book. The full title is Happy Hound: Develop a Great Relationship with Your Adopted Dog or Puppy. If you’re one of those people who have been reading stories about my dopey dogs for years, you’ll enjoy the book. Along with information on how to care for and train your dog, you can really tell this one was written by a dog owner (me) because it’s filled with anecdotes and sidebars that feature the antics of my all-furry team.
Speaking of the team, another reason it feels like I got nothing done is because after our trip, a bit of canine maintenance was required. To put it bluntly, I had to hose down the hounds, so they would no longer stink. Going to the boarding kennel means they do a LOT of playing and digging in the dirt. Our white dog Cami was gray. It was gross.
However, now all hounds are lovely and fun to pet again. And ever so slowly, order is again being restored to our furry universe.
