I’ve spent most of this week with a really hideous cold. Spring colds are a bummer. It was in the background last weekend, but Sunday I was so excited by the good weather that I replanted a lot of culinary herbs out of my garden where they are very happy, into places where they will probably die.
Although I’m not known for having much of a green thumb, I seem to be able to grow herbs like tarragon, thyme and oregano in a large way. Recently I learned that deer don’t like certain perennial herbs, so I decided to affirm that and put some some of my thriving plants in places where I haven’t seemed to been able to grow anything else.
It seemed like a good idea, but of course my big weekend digging spree had repercussions. The next day, I felt like dirt, so to speak. It’s been downhill from there. We did our radio show this week on a day when I was in the coughing phase of my cold. I managed to make it through the whole hour without making horrible sounds into the microphone, but I could see that the engineer had his hand poised over the off switch, lest I degenerate into a snuffling blob.
In other news, James has accepted a rather large on-site contract, so the Doing Business on the Web article in this issue will be the last one for the time being. For now, he will only be contributing articles intermittently instead of regularly as he has been for the last 43 weeks. However, if anyone has a topic they’d like him to address, please let him know by sending an e-mail to opinion AT logicalexpressions.com. He tells me that feedback will help him muster to write some more.
And if you have any cool tips or techniques you’d like to tell me about or like me to address here, as always, you can send me an e-mail at webmaster AT logicalexpressions.com. We really do love hearing from readers 🙂
