This week is notable because after a long hiatus, we updated the Computor Companion magazine site with a new issue. You can check it out at http://www.computorcompanion.com. Many thanks to our dedicated, fearless writers 😉
In other writing news, my Pet Tails columns are returning to the Inland Northwest and the online realm.
Locals know that my Tales from the Mousepad column appears in the Coeur d’Alene Press (in Idaho) before it appears in Logical Tips. I own the copyright, so I publish it as part of this ezine and archive it on my Logical Tips Web site. With the Internet, articles don’t become trash the next day, so people find helpful information on the site long after the original newspaper article has hit the recycle pile.
In much the same way, I’m going to turn my Pet Tails columns into an ezine and archive them on the Pet Tails site (http://www.pet-tails.com). The current site is made up of articles I wrote for a newspaper for about two years (1999-2000 or so). Again, I own the copyright, so I can do with them what I want. New articles will appear in the River Journal, a free local alternative newspaper that comes out twice a month. After the column appears in the newspaper, it will be published online. So, I’ll be setting up a Subscribe page on the Pet Tails site soon.
Many Logical Tips readers have told me that they have pets and like hearing stories about our goofy gang of furry beasties. Like the articles on the site, the new Pet Tails columns will have helpful information about being a good "mom" or "dad" to your cats and dogs. Because all my critters are rescues, I also tend to place a special emphasis on the needs of rescued and adopted pets.
So if you’re interested in being subscribed to Pet Tails, please send me an e-mail and I’ll add you to the list.
