I’m about to release my third Alpine Grove Romantic Comedy, The Art of Wag.
The manuscript is in editing now but there’s one big editing change that needs to be made. I need a name for the dog boarding kennel Kat Stevens is running.
If you’ve been reading the books, you know they haven’t built the kennel yet, but Kat is already meeting people who want to board dogs. At the end of my second book, Fuzzy Logic, Kat and a bunch of other characters do a huge brainstorming session about the name, and yet I still do not reveal what they decided.
That’s because I don’t know.
And that, dear readers, is where you come in. One of my favorite writers is Janet Evanovitch. She always asks her readers to help her name her “by the numbers” Stephanie Plum novels.
I know my readers are just as smart and creative as Janet’s, so here’s your chance. Put in a comment below with your suggestion for a great name for a dog boarding kennel. If you aren’t already a member of my “new releases” list, it will ask you to join. Be sure to put in a valid email address or I won’t be able to contact you if you win. (You will receive a confirmation email after you post with a link you need to click to be added to the list.)
The judging will be completely unscientific. My husband James and I will decide what we like best. I might ask my beta readers too, since they are awesome.
If we select the kennel name you suggest, I’ll include your name in the acknowledgements in the back of the Art of Wag and give you a $25 Amazon gift card.
