As some people know I have been writing our Logical Tips newsletter for about 6 or 7 years. Recently, I decided that it’s time to compile all those tips into books.
Of course, technology changes over the years and some tips are now sort of old. So I enlisted some help in testing the tips. She is reading them over first, so I can then go in and update them all to Windows XP and Office 2003. (Note that I’m not going to delve into the land of Windows Vista or Office 2007.)
Anyway, today my tip tester said, “I absolutely love your sense of humor you’ve included in your books! I’ve laughed out loud many times.”
I never really think about Logical Tips being funny, but I guess it does make the tips a little easier to digest if they aren’t too serious. So I’m hoping other people will enjoy the tips too!
Meanwhile, we also sent out a press release yesterday. I’ve already received a few calls from media, since it hit the wires:
Survive the Attack of the Killer Zucchini – Five Ways to Use Up Those Extra Summer Squash
I woke up one morning with the words “killer zucchini” in my head and it just cracked me up. Maybe I was hungry. Or maybe I’ve been watching too many weird episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD lately 😉
