I am cat
Hear me snore
In sunlight
Too bright to ignore
Just now, Troi, the increasingly rotund tabby almost fell off my lap. It was an embarrassing kitty moment. What a tub of lard. However, against my better judgment, I have been forced to put the feline team on "autofeed," which means they can eat any time they want. Dinner is always served.
Why have I relented on this issue? Well, dinner time was starting to become so unpleasant I couldn’t stand it anymore. Basically, Troi took it upon herself to explain to me all the time in great detail how hungry she is. Constant yowling, mewling, squeaking, and complaining gets really tiresome I can report.
Troi is also still at a somewhat obnoxious age. Most dogs or cats under the age of two are "teenagers." And teenagers can be unpleasant no matter what form they take. So yes, even with all the veterinary literature telling me that it’s not good to have a fat cat, I am letting Troi have free access to food. I like peace and quiet almost as much as Troi likes her dinner.
