As the old song goes, the weather outside is frightful. I’m going to send out this issue of Logical Tips early because snow plus wind plus trees tend to lead to a lack of electricity.
The current storm has blasted into our area from the Pacific Northwest. Apparently, many people there are still without power, so let’s just say I’m not too optimistic about our chances for keeping the lights and computers running all day. We may be sitting in the dark. Or more accurately the darker. I’d like to say right here and right now that I’m ready for the days to get longer again. (Only one more week!) The days seem even shorter when the weather is crummy and the sun hasn’t been out for what seems like forever.
However, all this time in the dark means I’m getting a lot of stuff done. The fact that my office is a total disaster is one sign that I’ve been working non-stop. I certainly haven’t been cleaning. This weekend I may finally clean up this mess. Putting away towering piles of papers and books doesn’t require electricity, after all.
