Fall is here and the leaves are everywhere. We’ve been firing up the ole wood stove again and James has been out chopping lots of wood. Because we had some logging done last winter, we have no shortage of firewood. We may never run out.
Now that the wood stove is going again, we can start burning all those annoying credit card inserts that we’ve been too lazy to shred. Personally, I hate the noise of shredders. Sitting in front of the wood stove warming your hands over junk mail is a much better use for it. I’m so tired of receiving “personal letters” from Kendall Stork, who is the president of some large credit organization. As if I really believed that this person were writing me a personal letter. Sometimes marketing is so annoying.
Since fall is here, it’s also time for a new issue of Computor Companion. Yes, the new issue is up. I particularly like the cover article, which explains how to create pick lists in Excel. But it does it in a very low-key and friendly way, so that even spreadsheet-phobes like me can handle it.
Enjoy 😉
