At the moment, I’m thinking about drool. Probably because Tika, the gold dog came by and rested her big fat snout on my thigh. The giant rivulet of drool that was hanging down from her mouth became a big splotch of slobber on my pants. (In fact, the glob was big enough that I went upstairs and changed my clothes.)
Normally, Tika is not a drooly dog, but today she got her teeth cleaned. She’s resting now after her big dental event, but according to the vet, one of the anesthetics causes a bit of nausea.
If you’ve ever had a dog that gets car sick, you’ve probably figured out that drool is the precursor to doggie breakfast ending up all over the back of your car. (I know ALL about this phenomenon and it’s the reason we call two of our dogs, "the barfer twins.")
So since the drool level is still high, Tika will be having a very, very light dinner tonight.
