It’s late and I’m tired. Coding HTML causes a special kind of tiredness for me. Maybe it’s just because my brain is tired. But I got a Web site draft done and I’m feeling proud of myself. I took the nifty digital camera for an outing to take pictures of a product for the site I’m working on, and the "action shots" came out really well (she says modestly). Not scanning photographs has a lot to recommend it. Sometimes technology is just too cool.
In other nerdy news, it’s looking like a horrible project I’ve been working on may be going away. I refer to it as the UGH, which stands for User Guide from someplace very warm (it’s an H, so you can probably guess). However, "ugh" has pretty much summed up this project. I’m crossing my fingers that it’s really gone.
In much less nerdy news, it has finally rained. After months and months of dryness and smoke from forest fires to the north and west of here, it has finally cooled off. The trees, and those of us who live among them, are feeling much better now 😉
And the best news of all is that James installed a dishwasher for us this weekend. The plumber flaked, so James rose to the occasion to do the plumbing in addition to the electrical work. Life is better now. Appliances are a wonderful thing.
