Today has been a day of multiple computer failures. When your computer’s power supply dies, it’s just bound to be a bad day. So the Insider is just going to have to be a little shorter than usual.
On the other hand, in a small town, one should always give credit where credit is due. And we can thank Joel Whitaker at Laser Image for being available, and really, really nice about replacing my computer’s power supply so that I could send out my three e-mail newsletters this evening.
Anyway, can you imagine getting that kind of instant service from some giant chain store?! I don’t think so. That’s why so many people here do our best to support the local businesses. What goes around comes around.
The other interesting thing was that considering I was experiencing a monumental computer failure, I was in a remarkably good mood. The sun was shining and hey, it’s Friday. There are worse things than driving to town through some beautiful Bonner County scenery on a sunny day.
And finally, to top it all off, today is tax day. So hey, everyone who filed an extension, please raise your hand. And if not, you have about four hours left. Go wild 😉
