This week has flown by in a big blur. Somehow it seems like every client I’ve ever had has emerged from the woodwork and a few new ones are headed my way as well. It’s sort of exciting, but also a bit exhausting.
Today was particularly exhausting because I had to do a lot of HTML (Web site) work. As I’ve noted before, too much HTML coding really turns my brain to mush. And this type of HTML is the worst kind. I’m redesigning sites that were created by people who (to put it nicely) did not know much about creating Web sites.
The only thing worse than looking at HTML code all day is looking at *bad* HTML code all day. Yuck.
In much less nerdy news, we’re having the beginnings of "spring break up" in February. "Break up" is a term used to rather accurately describe what happens to the roads when everything starts to thaw. Every spring, all the dirt roads become soggy, rutted, mud bogs. When it happens in February, you have some slush and ice thrown into the mix for that extra special driving experience.
The only thing worse than driving on icy, slippery, rutted roads is driving on slurpy, slushy, icy, slippery, rutted roads. Yuck.
But it does make it lot more appealing to stay home and get lots of work done fixing people’s Web sites I guess.
