I’m about halfway through the first draft of the third Alpine Grove Romantic Comedy, which is called The Art of Wag. If all goes as planned, the book should be out this fall.
I haven’t written an official blurb yet, but here’s a little about the story. The main character, Tracy Sullivan works two jobs in the small town of Alpine Grove and yet she can still barely pay her rent and keep her opinionated dachshund Roxy in dog food. She has the opportunity to take a free class and use her long-neglected artistic skills, and after getting fired from her crappy restaurant job, she figures she can at least have one last hurrah in the big city. What the heck?
So far in addition to Roxy the Doxy who has an odd fixation with kitchenware, the book also includes a very large orange cat named Billy Bob who is not embracing his weight loss program. Of course, a number of the characters from my prior novels Chez Stinky and Fuzzy Logic (Kat, Joel, and others) also show up in the story too.
