This week was certainly better than LAST week. (Okay, there’s my big understatement of the day.) And speaking of big, our big accomplishment this week was getting the September/October 2001 issue of Computor Companion done and online. This accomplishment is even more notable because now the CC site is running using our product, the LEI Publication Manager (you can read more about the product at http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com, if you’re interested).
On a more earthy note, there continues to be evidence of bears in the neighborhood. On this morning’s jog, we found really *big* footprints in the dust. They were not dog feet, that’s for sure. I’m just hoping that the local ursine population doesn’t latch onto the fact that there are a lot of really yummy ripening tomatoes in the greenhouse. The greenhouse is technically a "hoop" house because it’s made out of curved PVC pipe with plastic stretched over it. I’m a little concerned that to a bear it looks like a giant ziplock.
As I mentioned last week, this week’s Tales from the Mousepad article ran in the local newspaper two weeks ago, so for those who might have wondered, don’t worry, you didn’t miss any.
Oh and lest anyone think I’m stealing…I’m not. The local paper doesn’t PAY me to write Tales from the Mousepad, so they don’t own the copyright. I do. And that’s why I decided to republish it here for a wider — in fact, world wide — audience 🙂
